We bought Kipper three years ago having never driven a boat in our lives and knew nothing about boating except that we wanted to get into it! This boat has been fantastic. We have had numerous memorable trips on it. There are many other extras on board and knowing virtually nothing it quickly became apparent how all the extras on this boat, made the experience on this boat all the better. The reason we are selling her is because we have had a baby this summer and realise that we need something bigger.
I have stored the boat each winter out of the water, at a private yard. It has had a dehumidifier and heaters going on it each the winter so it keeps it in pristine condition. The condition of the interior as you can see speaks for itself. During the summer months it is berthed at Chichester Marina. If this is the size boat you are looking for, you will struggle to find a better example of one.
It is in great condition and with all the extras you really do have a floating luxury hotel! If I can’t find the next boat with these extras already on it I will be adding them myself. THE EXTRAS 1. Electric chain and anchor – this means that you can control it all from the helm although you can control it right up on deck if you prefer with the buttons on deck. 2. Autopilot – it has autopilot built into the steering which is very handy when you want to keep a straight line. 3.
Air conditioning and heating. We have only had to use the air conditioning once but it worked incredibly well. We thought it would be a bit of a gimmick when we first bought her but actually it proved us wrong and was great. It also has a diesel-fuelled heater which blows hot air into the front cabin and into the back of the boat too. 4. Garmin plotter 5.
TV on the wall near the kitchen. 6. Upgraded water gauge – you just push a little button inside the cabin and it tells you how much water you have left in the tank. 7. USB socket points – I have just changed all the sockets to have usb points within the double sockets too. The conversion to the UK power has been done professionally as you can see from the photographs. 8. Hot water shower at the back of the boat is fantastic when you come out of the water from swimming and need something to warm you up.
It is boiling hot. 9. Built in invertor to transfer the power over when you aren’t hooked up to it on shore. 10. Soni sound system which is fantastic quality and you can connect to your phone and Bluetooth your music directly to the device. You can also control the music from three different points; at the helm, by the rear seats and inside the cabin. There are speakers both inside and at the back of the boat. 11.
Heater fuel level gauge 12. Soft Lighting scheme – there are a huge amount of extra lighting with the LED strip in the back of the boat and small spot lights in the cabin area. There are also swim lights that glow under the swim platform which look gorgeous in the evening. 13. Upgraded toilet – the whole toilet has been upgraded by the previous owner and it is fantastic as you don't get any smells from it at all and it is very efficient. To top it off, it is finished perfectly with its teak toilet seat.
It also has a Johnson electronic pump so no need to manually clear waste away! Trailer - I also have a trailer that I use to store the boat on over the winter and to take it to different places which is available for purchase separately. The boat tows very nicely and I have towed the boat all the way back from north Wales down to Chichester marina and it was absolutely fine. It had a full service before this season although we haven’t used it this summer due to the arrival of the baby. I had all the jets done in the carb and completely overhauled by a marine mechanic who has looked after the boat ever since I have had it and he is an absolute guru on these engines. IT will just power up and get onto the plain in seconds. The anodes will be due when it next comes out of the water – we just tend to change them every year. It has a new fan belt.
I have a whole folder full of literature about the boat. I have lots more photos of the boat too but I can only load 12 here. For any information please call me on my mobile phone
