Maxum Bowrider

Maxum bowrider speedboat For sale my much loved boat, unable to use it as I have Arthritis in both knees. It has 4 seats in the back plus the bowrider seats easily seats 6 people. I fitted a Mercury 80 HP outboard engine with power tilt and trim as the old engine split a piston and could not get another one. I think the boat was built about 1989 and I have owned it for about 15 years. It does need some electrical work to the dashboard, when I fitted the engine I had to fit the controls that came with it, the old wiring is still there which means the fuel gauge and speedo do not work.

It could do with some paintwork due to mooring marks, also the brakes need attention, possibly only adjustment The outboard had a major sevice in 2017 and has only been used for about 4 hours since, this cost £385. I fitted a new propellor which has only run for about an hour,cost about £80 it has new wheel bearings fitted to the trailer and the spare tyre is new and one of the trailer boat rollers is brand new. It has a ski ladder at the back, It is fitted with lights and a light pole. Comes with the light board. CAN BE SEEN RUNNING, as I have the water muffs for starting the engine these will be included in the sale.

I used it mainly on rivers and a few times on the sea. This is a fast sports boat reaching speeds of around 40 miles per hour. Due to the wheels being more towards the rear of the trailer it is vey stable towing never had it snaking even up to 70 mph.Boat is 17.5 foot long, around 20 foot on trailer.Boat is advertised else where so may be removed at any time.
