Newbridge Navigator 19 For Sale

Built in 1984, this Newbridge Navigator is in excellent order throughout. I have owned 'Meladie' for three years and sailed her extensively in the Solent and Christchurch Bay. I am now selling due to the acquisition of a larger yacht. These boats were built in large numbers during the 1980s and proved extremely popular due to their seakeeping abilities and huge amount of cabin space for a 19ft yacht. Meladie is the bilge keel version and only draws 2ft so is ideal for exploring the estuaries and creeks of the Solent.

Her wide beam and ballast ratio of 42% means that she is a very stable and forgiving boat - so ideal for those looking for their first cruiser. The accommodation includes 4 berths, a fold away table, compartment for cassette toilet, sink and cooker, with ample sitting headroom. The two single berths are each over 6' 3" long. Ample storage throughout. She has a Bermudan sloop rig with furling genoa and slab reefing mainsail, complete with lazy jacks and sail cover.

New main halyard and topping lift fitted this year. Engine is a long shaft 5hp Tohatsu outboard that I have owned from new since 2015 and had professionally serviced each year. It sits in a lockable outboard well.
