10 Meter Kelsall Catamaran, Multihull

10 meter catamaran. 10 metre length, 4.5m beam built to a Derek Kelsall design in 1980 double skinned foam core hulls, believed to be only one of three of this model built in the uk. Volvo 2002, 18hp, 2 cylinder inboard diesel with saildrive and folding prop. 15hp Evinrude, two stroke petrol outboard auxiliary engine. Wheel steering .
Autopilot, chartplotter. Two double berths and two single berths in 4 cabins .sea toilet. Gas hob/ oven. New trampolines front and back. Dinghy and outboard.
Solar panel 240 volt hook up. Ready to sail away currently on water in Cardiff bay. Mooring does not come with vessel however a choice of commercial moorings are available locally. Two mainsails jib and Genoa and spinnaker, all in useable condition approx 20 years old but plenty of life left in them. Two anchors, chain and a manual windlass.Twin lifting centreboards.
Full standing headroom in the hulls and some, approx 6 foot headroom in saloon. 12v TV . Possible take smaller boat in part ex .very little information is available on this design so I don't have full specifications. Bearing in mind this boat is over 40 years old and at a very reasonable price please bear this in mind and if you wish to instruct a professional surveyor that is perfectly ok .I have no details of when she was professionally surveyed last but she was out of the water this summer for a pressure wash and nothing unpleasant was discovered below the waterline. The price is non negotiable so please do not expect to make an offer.
Upon completion bof sale she will have to leave her current mooring the best deal locally at a commercial mooring is approx £500 for 3 months however there are yacht clubs in the area where cheaper moorings are available but this would involve joining the clubs which could take some time so please bear this in mind. The standing and running rigging are in my opinion serviceable but as I cannot say exactly how old anything bis we shall assume 20 years old. The trampolines were replaced this year and I have a nearly new mainsail from a sadler 29 currently on the boom which is in excellent condition. Engine has been serviced by myself recently benefiting from new filters fuel pump impeller and a decoke of the exhaust elbow and related waterways.two 110ah hour batteries charged by the alternator and a solar panel.
