16 Foot Trailer sailer with road trailer. Loads of interest but messed around big time, now reduced £100. Lovely little ex Norfolk Broads day sailer which has been mainly used as a canal boat with a small outboard. I bought it last season with every intention of re commissioning it as a sailing boat to potter around Cardiff bay on my own but I simply can't manage to launch and recover on my own on the rare occasion I have some spare time. Also I have to raise the mast after passing under a road bridge which is again a bit of a chore on my own.
It has been on the water 3 times since last year. I am going to downsize to a laser 13 dinghy at a local sailing club which I can hand launch instead of using the car and will hopefully get some more use. It has twin lifting keels/centreboards which frees up the cabin space. I am not sure of the exact make but it seems quite similar in design to the Sailfish. The Retractable centreboards allow it to be launched in shallow water and it sits low on the trailer.
The trailer is old but functional and I towed it 150 miles when I collected it and changed the wheel bearings as a matter of course. Sails are supplied but it needs a few bits of additional rigging, nothing more than a few cleats and blocks to get it sailing. Not sure what the sails are from and they are not in the greatest condition but useable. If you are hoping to sail the boat you may want to adjust the mast rake and sails set up. Overall condition is really good as you can see by the pictures and someone will have a lot of fun with this boat up and down the canals, estuary fishing or sailing.
Probably best to give me a call to discuss further and I'll try and answer any questions 0phone. Currently lying with the mast up at a local sailing club where it can be viewed. It is advertised elsewhere and may be sold at any time. Priced realistically for a quick no hassle cash sale. Located near Cardiff airport.
