Boat Type: Fishing/ Angling
For Sale is my 17tf Wilson Flyer The boat is 17ft x 6ft and the trailer is 21ft The boat was in full working condition when I bought it but this is now a restoration project which I cannot finish due to health issues. The boat has been stripped and was sanded down about a year ago. I started to fill the holes in the centre consol with fibreglass but that's as far as I got. I still have some of the fibreglass, resin etc. Not sure if it's still ok to use but I will have a look and send it with the boat.
The trailer needs a good strip down and painting. When I collected it from the boatyard a few months ago the brakes had seized due to it having been stood for a while. I managed to release the brake shoes from the drum and towed it home - about 20 miles. I don't think the brakes are working so they will need to be looked at. The trailer comes with a new spare tyre.
This is a solid boat. It comes with a 60hp Mariner outboard engine. The engine was working a year ago when I took it off the boat. I do have the wiring diagram to put it back. The boat is as pictured in the photos.
All the parts that I have left, after stripping it down, are also pictured in the photos. There are additional items included with the sale of the boat:Paint - Plenty of paint to paint the full boat. All unopened. I only opened the boxes today to take the tins out to take a photo. The paint alone cost me £250.
5ltrs of Signal Red Hardtop, 5ltrs of Signal Yellow Hardtop, 5ltrs Penguard HB White A&B, 5lts Grey Conceal TU and 5ltrs of No 10 Thinners.Seating Boxes - I have made seating/storage boxes to fit the centre of the boat. The lids will need attaching and they need to be varnished. They come with foam cushions and the fabric to cover the cushions.Gadgets - 1x Midland VHF Radio1x Humminbird 150 SX Fish Finder1x Garmin 120XL GPS1 x small handheld fish finder(These were working when they came with the boat. They have been stored in a cupboard inside the house) You may need holders and cables. There is the original internal fuel tank.
I took it out with the intention of using removable tanks which I consider easier to refill. You can have the original tank if you want it. For a person who knows about restoring boats this will be a quick good project to work on. You will have an excellent boat once finished. You are more than welcome to come and have a look at the boat before deciding whether to purchase it or not.
I can deliver if required, within a reasonable distance from Heathrow, but at an additional cost. Offers will be considered OVER the starting price. If you need any further information or photos please message me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
