1930's Clinker Boat Hull Project

Clinker Boat Project. This project dates back to the 1930's. The clinker boat was manufactured in Battlebridge and it is believed to have spent it's life on the River Crouch. The boat design was initially a raised deck motor cruiser with a full stabilising gaff sail rigging. It was powered by a BMC 1.5.
The top half of the boat has been completely removed due to its condition.The entire hull has been cleared so full access is now available and the hull can now be restored free of any obstructions. My understanding is that the clinker planking is elm and so too is the transom.The transom is 2" thick.The ribs appear to be oak. The hull requires at least three planks to be repaired and the stem will need to be replaced. The stem has been removed. This is a beautiful shaped hull and is ready to be restored and turned into whatever vessel the buyer decides Please note this is a project for a boat builder, carpenter, shipwright or advanced boat restorer.
It is not a basic DIY repair and although the boat has been prepared for restoration, it is really only suitable for a professional boat builder. The boat is approximately 26/27 feet in length with a considerable beam of roughly 10 feet. There is no additional equipment with this project, it has been prepared for a full restoration starting from its basic hull. The boat project is a sea boat. It is based on the Norfolk Broads at Wayford Bridge NR12 9LL and can be viewed 7 days a week.
Storage has been paid on this project until the end of March 2023.
