1976, 28ft, One-Off, Curtis And Pape, Celtic Cutter Yacht, Boat, Motor Cruiser

For sale - we have the ironically named Knot 4 Sail, which is a one-off, beautiful, picture postcard, Curtis and Pape, clinker built, Celtic Cutter yacht, in need of restoration. She has a very good condition hull which is in need of minor repair. We have anti-fouled and corked early last year. We also did some light restoration to the bow, where some of the timber had rotted around the rivets. All rotten timber was cut away and plugged with new hardwood, then copper sheathed, as you can see in the photos.

Unfortunately, whereas the hull is in really good condition, the cabin sides and roof are in need of more major restoration. She is fitted with a Vetus 3 cyclinder diesel, with a higher power upgrade alternator, from a car, which provides plenty of power, on a minimum of fuel. We have also built a high quality, 3 piece boom tent, that covers the whole boat from bow to stern, for winter storage. Due to other commitments, we are unable to finish the restoration ourselves but would be willing to take it on as a commission. We feel she could be worth over £40 000 when fully restored but in her current condition, we are realistic as to her value now.
