Devon Lady – 20 Foot Norman Conquest For sale due to purchasing a live aboard narrow boat. This fantastic 20 foot narrow beam cruiser is light and agile navigating rivers and canals with ease. Being 20 foot allows her to turn pretty much anywhere on the canal system. Despite her size, she is very functional as a day or weekend boat featuring a comfortable seating area in the main cabin that makes up a large full width double bed, or can be used as two single berths. The rear cabin could sleep two shorter adults or children and features a removeable table for dining.

There is a small toilet compartment featuring a recently purchased cassette toilet. The galley has a recently purchased Voyager 4500 oven with two hobs. Both LPG and Butane canisters (and relevant regulators) included. A clever wooden cover is included making more galley work surfaces when the cooker is not in use and a small drop down table to extend space further.There is plenty of storage under all seats, drawer under cooker. Cubby trays both sides of the forecabin and lots of space in the rear cabin including more cubby holes.

Other features include: High efficiency solar panel (with control unit) above the rear cabin so does not get in the way when cruising. Will power an electric cool box connected to the battery during a sunny summer day. 9.9hp Mercury Mariner 4 stroke outboard currently being serviced at L.R Harris Leicester and will be ready to go upon return. The outboard also charges the single battery. Approximately 10 years old and has always been serviced for the last couple of years I have had the boat.

Also has a recent new starter motor. All round LED lights. 3 in the main cabin, and 1 in the rear cabin. Uses very little power. 240V hook up with two twin sockets in main cabin.

1 of the sockets has 5V 3.1A USB sockets (the higher rating required to fast charge most mobiles and tablets). 12V Electric water pump for cold running water New ropes and fenders purchased 2018 All required cruising equipment shall be supplied (Windlass etc) New canopy fitted 2017/2018Brand new British ensign (flag) The negatives are the age of the boat meaning the colour of the boat has faded but with some polish and elbow grease she’ll come up like seen in the photos showing her glistening in the sun (Summer 2018). The seat cushions could do with a clean along with the curtains, or simply replace them. Not a big or expensive job. The outboard is currently off the boat as mentioned being serviced ready for the new owner.

The boat is moored in Leicester Marina and viewing by appointment only. The boat shall be supplied with a 30 Day Explorer Licence with 26 days remaining. There is a BSC included and expires May 2022. There is a slipway within the marina that can be booked by contacting the marina directly. There is no trailer included however.
