20 Ft Cabin Cruiser River/canal Boat

Project boat - sold as seen Buckingham 20 Due to ill health I am being forced to sell my lovely Crescent Moon. I have had her for 11 years and had some amazing holidays and parties on board this lovely little boat. Completely overhauled 5 years ago with a new canopy, new seating and tiling. Sadly though due to neglect over the past 2 years she is looking incredibly shabby and needs some TLC to be brought back to her former glory. It is definitely a project but will be very worthwhile to whoever takes it on (and is in no way as big a job as some of the project boats on here.) Easily sleeps four (2 in the cabin and 2 on the deck) and benefits from an integral stereo radio/cd with speakers built into the deck.
Lovely kitchen area and bright, tiled toilet compartment with portable toilet with electronic flush. Internal water tank and plenty of storage beneath all seats. There is currently no safety certificate but this is never a problem as there is no gas on board and both batteries are securely tethered down and regulation fire extinguishers are in place. It always passes without any issue. The hull is sound and she sits perfectly level in the water but the paint is peeling and needs fully sanding down and re-painting from scratch.
The wood around the windscreen is completely rotten and needs urgent attention (please see photographs) The vinyl lining on the inside of the hatch has come down and needs repair. There are some damp patches on some of the seats in the cabin (please see photographs), this has either come through the hatch or through the edge of the windows where some moss has built up in the runners. The damp will be cured as these small repairs are done. The carpet is dirty and needs replacing. The deck area is in excellent condition and needs no work (except perhaps a lick of paint) The upholstery is like new and the canopy is also in excellent condition with no cracks or rips - it just needs a wipe down and it will be like new.
The engine is a Honda 4 stroke outboard and up until this year has always started first time, and been 100% reliable, even after being left all winter. We have had a few problems getting her started recently but once the engine is going she runs like a dream (for instance it took us 10 minutes to get her going today but then she was absolutely fine and has had a good 2-hour run today 10/9/2017) It has had regular oil changes but will need a service, then I'm sure it will be as reliable as it was before. There are 2 excellent batteries, one charged by the engine and the other by a solar panel. The boat is currently on the Bridgewater canal, based in a secure mooring at Lymm Marina where she has been for the past 11 years and there has never been any trouble. The mooring could be transferred (upon marina approval) at a cost of £80 per month.
If you were to keep it there it is set in beautiful countryside and you could enjoy a stunning 2 hour cruise with uninterrupted stunning views all the way through to Runcorn passing through beautiful villages such as Lymm and Grappenhall where you can easily moor up and enjoy the pubs and restaurants. If you prefer to take the boat away there is a slipway less than 5 minutes away at Hesford Marine. Repairs/overhauls can also be done here. All the photographs have been taken today and are a true reflection of the condition of the boat, as is the price. She has always been a lovely little boat and once these repairs have been done I'm sure the new owners will be just as happy as we have been.
