Viewings welcomed in Evesham Worcestershire.phonePayment by Bacs or Cash or Paypal if you cover the 3% charge Welcome to this sale of Victoria, my much loved Cabin Cruiser. Victoria is modelled on an East Coast Shrimper. She is a Matelot 20, a proper little fishing/pleasure boat, She is a lovely vessel constructed of GRP hull and super structure with a Teak wooden planking deck and chalking which has been Danish oiled and sealed. She has spent nearly all of her life on the River Avon Worcestershire and the previous owner spent a great deal of time converting her to a lovely cabin cruiser. The Lombardini 10hp single cylinder engine provides ample drive for the inland waterways where she truly excels. This combined with the Vetus waterlock LP40 and this gives a wonderful burbling to the exhaust and water mix which is very unobtrusive as she passes by. She has had a great deal of attention over the last year and just needs a new owner to put the finishing home furnishing touches to her. The photos are a good representation of her condition. The reason for offering Victoria for sale is due to the fact that my 30ft Steam launch “ An Tik Witti” is nearing completion and she will go into service in Evesham on the River Avon on Victoria’s mooring. We had a full out of the water boat survey completed with proof of no osmosis to the hull prior to her relaunch. In addition her Boat safety certificate is in date and the Avon Navigation licence expires in 2022. A new bilge pump, water pump, 4 new batteries, solar panel and control panel have all been fitted. Previously on warm days cruising along there was little air flow through the boat. As a result the fixed stainless steel windows were upgraded and replace with Iroko wood frames that can be lower down to give a much needed cool breeze whilst at the helm. She has a spacious forward area which gives the opportunity for two single berths , these could easily be modified into a double if needed.A centre wooden section and v shaped cushion would be a small expense. The helm compartment also has the sink and cold water feed along with the ability to have a camping stove and small side table in use. To the rear you can relax with ample bench seating which can be shaded on those sunny days. Victoria has a very heavy duty Rope rubbing strip right around her and eye plates into the deck for securing fenders at regular intervals. There is an anchor in the bow locker with enough cable and rope to hold her in gentle flow. Two stern lockers, helm compartments and under bed cubbies give ample storage for Ropes, fenders and stores. The Thetford cassette toilet is neatly stowed should the call of nature become a necessity. Victoria has two leisure batteries for all of the auxiliary requirements which also power an inverter and cool box. The two main batteries work in parallel to turn her over on start up. These are permanently charging courtesy of the solar panel fitted to the roof. The water fill point is on the Port side and the Diesel fill point is to the stern both have heavy duty brass fittings. The engine was serviced with less than 20 hours run time since with new belts fitted along with the usual oil and filter etc. The rudder was also remade in Iroko wood by our amazing carpenter and heavily oiled prior to going into service. The hull was coated in International Anti fowl Paint purely as a cosmetic addition. The river Avon is a neutral river so even after a sustained life in the water most vessels have very little adhesion. Please feel free to ask any questions. Viewings are most welcomed. Please make contact to my mobile 0phone She is currently on private exclusive moorings in Evesham. On her sale, she will need to be relocated in a timely manner as the moorings are required for a new steam launch. I am more than happy to arrange in her delivery to a new mooring on the River Avon with only nominal cost of supplying the crew to achieve this.Advertised at the value at £8450 Please no offers she is a beautiful boat and worth above the asking price Tech spec follows Mechanical Engine 1 x Diesel 10hp, Engine make and model Lombardini (1996) Engine Cooled Direct Steering Tiller Drive Shaft, Prop(s) 3 blade fixed.
