20ft Day Boat (Inboard Motor) + Bikini Fairing + Trailer

FOR SALE: Converted Canadian Dory 20ft river cruiser day boat Thank you for looking at my listing. I am selling the boat unfortunately due to having too many projects on the go and am also about to start a new job. Trying to juggle this, alongside a growing family and something had to drop. "Pop Pop" as the boat is named, is a rather lovely and unusual river day boat. Originally a Canadian sea fishing "Dory", the boat was professionally converted to a powered craft (the original boat would have been intended for sea use and oars).
The conversion saw the installation of fore and aft decks, with a steering helm, keel / prop / rudder and also the fitting of a 2 cylinder Petter inboard diesel engine (believe this is a AC2WM). I purchased the boat around 6 months ago, with the intention of freshening up and potentially replacing the Petter engine with something more modern - albeit those with knowledge of Petter engines would argue they are bulletproof and with maintenance can go on forever. Unfortunately these engines aren't my forte, so cannot comment much on their functionality. I believe the engine runs but requires a new start motor to be usable. As can be seen from one of the photos, the boat is intact and was last in the water circa 12 months ago.
It would, however, be sold as seen and any prospect buyers would need to perform their own assessment of condition, readiness for use.
