22ft Sailing Yacht Pandora MK1 Restoration Project

Pandora 22 : sailed regularly on Medway and Swale 2016 - 2019, and maintained ashore during winter. Upgrades include new sails, lazy jacks, standing and running rigging, steering compass, depth sounder, fuel tank, Barton slab reefing system, fitting for 2nd battery. Great boat to sail, good performance, light to handle and comfortable to sleep aboard. The interior of was completely stripped and repainted in 2010.Ashore at Upnor, Kent and in need of some general refurbishment and repair to leak: hence price. Full survey carried out in 2014 with all recommendations completed.Prospective buyers are welcome to arrange a visit.

BALKISN, A Pandora MK1, designed by Van de Stadt and built by Ridgeway Marine in approx 1972/3 with its triple keel is fun to sail. The Pandora has an excellent sailing performance, easily trailed and big enough to weekend/cruise aboard. The Pandora's compact galley is surrounded by a number of reasonable sized shelves and lockers. BALKISN offers 4 berths in one cabin, a forward double "V" berth with infill and single side berths to port and starboard, with room for a chemical toilet. The galley area to port has a single burner stove and a sink with manual pumped water.

The upholstery is in reasonable condition and finished in green. The cockpit provides comfortable seating for 2-3 people. SAILS & SPARS This Pandora MK1 is a masthead sloop with a deck stepped aluminium mast and boom with slab reefing, lazy jacks and stack pack (2019). Stainless steel standing rigging (2015) with polyester running rigging. 2 x sheet winches.
