23ft Dawncraft 4 Berth Boat - Great For Summer And Very Reluctant Sale

Hi - I'm really reluctant to be listing Rovelli but, unfortunately due to a change in job, I need to sell her. She had been in the same family for nearly 40 years (got a copy of the original invoice!) and I bought as a project. There's some additional paperwork, mainly invoices and guarantees for some of the work that's been done. Rovelli is still in excellent condition but needs a little TLC and some more regular use. The 2 stroke engine had a replacement carb and setup - all done at Beeston Marina - and works well.
I've got some new sparkplugs and there's a very heavy duty (lorry?) starter battery. Please note the engine does have a cover, I just took it off for the photo so you could see how clean it is. The interior is in great condition with the original fridge (a dish for water on the top to circulate and keep cool - amazing), the original gas cooker (the oven has never been used). There is space to sleep four, if you include the main canopy area. My son and daughter thoroughly enjoyed the few weekends we've been able to get away, and she's been sailed from the Loughborough area to her current beautiful mooring in Newark.
The plan was to spend this spring refurbishing, painting, cleaning etc but I just won't have the time. I have managed to clean the exterior, ready for painting and will continue to work on her until she sells. There's a whole load of included equipment including a river anchor, boat hook, lots of fasteners, lock keys, an invertor - to use the battery as 3 pin power - and an extension lead for when you're moored. There's also a fairly new portable toilet in a separate compartment that's around the size of a small wardrobe. I'll be going to see her this weekend and will add some more interior pictures very soon.
She'll make someone a great weekend boat and I really don't want to sell ... sigh. For that reason I'm looking for offers around £2800 - I understand that the hardtop version of these Dawncraft 23ft are very rare and she'll make a great investment. The moorings are paid until September and there is a current boat safety certificate until May 2020. Viewings can be arranged most weekends, and Rovelli is based at the stunning Kings Marina in Newark. However, we live in Leeds and I will be making a special journey so would appreciate a few days notice :-) Cash or bank transfer only.
