Norman 23 – 23 foot, 3 berth, inland cabin cruiser, with 15hp Mariner outboard Hull construction: GRP (fibreglass)Overall Length: 23'Overall Beam: 6' 10"Overall Depth: 6'Draught: 1' 10" I am selling my boat as I have bought a larger one. She does require some tidying up in places. However, it isn’t a great deal of work to anyone who’s a bit handy. Boat Safety Certificate (BSC) issued following a safety inspection, valid till 15 March 2022 and is a requirement on many UK waterways and often for insurance. It is sold as seen and viewings are welcome, see description below.Features:Forward double bunk in the bow, can be used as V shaped seating area by removing central section. Storage under bunks and at bow.Storage underneath seating.LPG cooker with double hob burner, grill and oven – butane cylinder supplied in gas locker (located in cockpit).Draining sink and tap connected to water pump and large water tank under V berth. Small heads (no toilet supplied).Worktop area, with storage underneath three large storage cupboards.Emergency access hatch above forward seating/berth. LED lighting fitted inside the cabin. Main access to cabin is through small door (lockable) from cockpit.Cockpit covered by canopy in decent condition could do with a clean 1 small repair see pic.Cockpit contains helm position with electrical isolation switches, own LED lights, outboard controls and steering wheel; gas locker; cushioned seating area.Solar panel charge controller inside cabin.Below the cockpit are the battery isolation switches, batteries (engine starter and 2 leisure), removable fuel tank, and a large storage area. These are accessed from below the seating or an access panel100w solar panel, fenders, butane gas bottle.Night heater powered by diesel. Blows into the cabin and cockpit. Temp controlled.12v DAB radio.Boat hook. The outboard is a great little 15hp Mariner 4 stroke, electric start.It was fitted to the boat in 2006. Serviced last year and has had the gearbox oil changed . Although a few years old now it is a good little runner. Just been along the Llangollen canal no problem. Areas of damage:Some scratches to GRP around the front (well above the waterline, has been there for years with no issue)Some wood rubbing strake requires repair/repaint.Half a tin of blue paint for touching up.Some of the white could do with a tidy up.Other works required:The cooker and Diesel heater both in working order were added after the boat safety certificate so need to be checked and added by the new owner.Decorative works – repainting deck & hull Collection only, the boat is at Chirk on the Llangollen Canal.
