24ft Clinker Fishing Boat

24ft (7.3m) clinker built wooden fishing boat. This is a Hastings Beach boat, which is designed to be grounded usually on the beach on an ebb tide, and re-launched on the flood, so it's a tough old boat. 1500 BMC engine (These engines are vitually bullet proof, it's never let me down) Comes with the following - Lowrance Elite 4 Fishfinder, also used to monitor the depth.Lowrance VHF Radio. 2 X Solar Panels on the roof which charges the auxiliary batteries.2 X Engine Batteries2 X Auxiliary BatteriesBattery Isolator Switch (allows selection of 1. There's nothing better than cooking freshly caught fish. Various tins of marine paint that match the boat colours, I think there's a full tin of sapphire blue and a couple of tins of white paint. The cabin and deck could do with a splash of paint. There's a tin of deck paint, as that would benefit from a lick of paint as well. Boat did have some damage earlier in the year in all the high winds, when it was moored against the harbour wall in Bangor.

It managed to pull off the fender D strip on the port side, so I sailed to the boat to Rhyl and replace the wood fixing for the D Fender. Steam bending 3" x 2" wood in situ wasn't quite a difficult as I thought it wood be, but still quite a challenge. The boat is currently in the boatyard at Rhyl Harbour, so it will either need to launched from there, or you'll need take on the boatyard fees. The launch fee is about £100, the boatyard fees are about £20 a week. An 8 meter mooring at Rhyl is £440 for a Denbighshire resident and £490 for a non resident, which is very reasonable.
