BUCKINGHAM 25FT RIVER/CANAL CRUISER 1985 FOR SALE Mooring included in the beautiful setting of Furness Vale Marina, High Peak. READY FOR EASTER AND SUMMER CRUISING ! Selling due to immigrating to Canada and very upset to be letting FREDA go ! FREDA is a 25ft Buckingham GRP river/canal cruiser with the following: Berth: Sleeps 4 Adults or can easily fit 3 adults and 2 children as we have done. Engine: Honda Outboard 1996, 10HP Fuel: Petrol Length: 25ftBeam: 6"-10" Boat Safety Certificate: Expires 08/06/2022CRT Licence: Expires 20/09/2019 Anti-Fouling: Done approximately 3 years ago (I Believe, previous owners advised) CURRENT CONDITION: Externally: As you will see from the pictures, Freda is in great shape and has been used regularly over the past 2 years since I have owned her.

Experienced amazing days out cruising the cut around the high peak, Macclesfield canal, and Manchester. The hull and bodywork is in good condition with no dents or bumps but there is wear and tear as to be expected as Freda is 33 years old, but well loved. The canopy is in fair condition and I have not noticed any leaks. The engine is a Honda Petrol Outboard 1996, 10HP which is in good working order. The engine was serviced in September 2018.

Internally: there is power supply (onshore power) and I am including an inverter and a portable battery which powers the TV for 6 hours straight offshore, including charging iPhones, Ipads etc. The battery is working fine and does provide some power for lights but not reliable for anything else - I would recommend adding a leisure battery if intend on long cruises. There as 12v sockets and plug points for onshore power. There is a cassette toilet which is working fine and of course has been thoroughly cleaned and ready to use. A small oven and hob is included which we have not used much as there is plenty of options around the marina.

There is a sink with water supply, and plenty of storage under seats and kitchen cupboards. I am also giving the following extras:EXTRAS ALBA 22" DVD/TV with remote (see picture) Inverter Portable Battery 2 x handheld radios (Perfect for the locks) Portable heater with 4/5 small cannisters Internal heating part (see pictures, I am not 100% if this is working as was given to me but could be worth £300, the vents are already fitted on the boat for it to be installed) Lock keys Electric cables (for onshore power) Dual-range system 2000, Lowrance 2260 Sealine II marine radio Mooring pins and ropes etc FURNESS VALE MARINAI have authorisation to offer mooring with Freda which is subject to an introduction with the buyer and Marina. The staff are amazing and very friendly, helpful if you need anything. There is a chandlery on site and services offered include services such as anti-fouling and dry dock. The staff at the chandlery are fantastic as well and always happy to offer help and advice.

They have provided me with engineers and electrician contact details in the past and they are reasonably priced. There is also a BBQ/Patio area on the marina which we have used with the family on warm days and other boat owners are really friendly and always stop to chat. There is also a 24 hour Tesco just a short walk down the canal to get your essentials. The Current cost of mooring is £80.00 a month which is an amazing price and cheaper than most canal side moorings and other marinas. There is also onsite electrical supply which is a standard charge of £2 per week + any electricity charges (this is optional).

HIGH PEAK This is one of the main reasons we bought Freda in the first place; amazing days out such as the beautifully set towns such as Buxton, New Mills, Hope Valley and much more. Local museums, Cafe's, restaurants, pubs, and numerous play areas for children. Lots of activities such as rock climbing, hand gliding, swimming, wind sailing, canoeing, and day trips on the canal on the narrowboats. There are many guided tours of the caves in the area which are amazing. OK, DOWN TO BUSINESS I am looking for a quick sale as our visa's came through earlier than expected for our move to Canada.

The actual value of this cruiser is between £5,000 and £6,000 and if I had more time I would be listing around these figures so you have the potential for an absolute bargain here with equity in the boat straight away. Due to our situation, we are happy to consider offers but no silly offers please and no time wasters.
