Condition Description: 
This boat has only been sailed 4 times since 1989. Unfortunately the original owners passed away a short time after buying her. She has been completely stripped out inside leaving only the sink/galley in place, ready for her refit. The old glass windows and forehatch had perished and let water in, so these have all been taken out ready for new acrylic to go in. The keels were in great condition but were taken off, cleaned, reset onto the hull to make sure they were water tight. The hull has been taken back to smooth glass and re painted in primer below water line, so she is ready for top coat/antifoul. Engine is working perfectly and believed to have done 5 hours in total. It has been stripped, new oil, new filters, new impeller etc all last year. There is a lot of cosmetic work to do on this vessel, but if you are looking for a solid low usage boat project this could be an extremely good purchase. Mast is not set, but is with the boat, as is boom and rigging (not checked). Bargain!
Description: 

The boat is in good condition top side, but as detailed in condition, the boat needs a fair amount of befitting with Windows and interior. These are a 5 berth vessel and well laid out for a family boat, extremely stable in the water but sail nicely. Any viewing is welcome prior to auction ending but please be aware this is for serious bidders only. The boat is currently on the hard stand at Walton on naze, paid up until September, so there is no urgency to move her and the rates are very reasonable if you decide to leave her there. Originally these were fitted with a pilot seat inside, but of little use and most of these boats have had them since removed to offer more cabin space below.

Steering is good, gearing is good, just needs someone with time to finish her off. These are a £14 -£15,000 boat in nice condition, so this could be a bargain offering someone the chance to get into sailing at a relatively low cost.
