Up for sale is a great condition 275cm folding rib F-rib / Winboat with a 6hp Suzuki 4 stroke outboard motor. If you do not know about these f-rib boats - google is your friend - they are absolutely brilliant! Here is a link to the same boat and motor combo - http://www.rib.net/forum/f50/f-rib-275-first-impressions-71469.html . The solid V hull makes the boat handle like a dream. Totally different to a SIB with an inflatable hull which skid when turning and require a bigger motor to get on a plane.
This hull is a very efficient design and feels and behaves just like a RIB. Can fit in the back of any car with rear seats folded down (A tiny VW UP was used in promo vid) or a standard estate will swallow it up with full seating for everyone. I can be on the water in 5 minutes. So easy. 6th pic shows the size and compactness of the boat when folded and stowed.
Includes: - as new, folding transom wheels - these are great - they fold down when you need to get boat in and out of water. Makes it very easy to manoeuvre the boat. - sliding bench seat - as new, f-rib oars - which clip to boat sides when not in use and screw on when using - storage bag- manual foot pump - hi flow/pressure bravo electric pump - inflates up in less than 3 minutes and also helps deflate if needed - 14 stainless towing eyes on transom for towing inflatable toys The boat has been well cared for, hull is in great shape, with light signs of usage (light scratches, odd tiny chip). Tubes have no repairs and holds air as they should. These boats are built to last - they were created for the Russian army - need I say more.
Only selling as our usual crew of myself, my wife and my 2 children are expanding to take my mum as well on the odd occasion with our towing toys. So we have bought a F-rib 330cm to accommodate the addition and still be manageable to store and move. Cannot speak highly enough of this 275 - we’ve pootled on the Thames, whizzed along the Brighton seafront and pulled our inflatable ringo on the rivers of France with it. All with the convenience of inflating/ collapsing and fittting in / out of 4x4 car in 5 mins. Well cared for and always washed and stored properly after every use.
Price new - £2200 new plus transom wheels (£150) plus electric pump (£125). Total cost new: £2475 Boat Price: £1750ono without engine Included in the sale (or available seperately) is a 2 hour old Suzuki 6hp 4 stroke outboard. Not even fully run in yet. Motor is ‘as new’ and is flushed and acf-50’d after each use. This motor will plane easily and do (once broken in) 16mph 1 up in a 275 f-rib or drop prop size to plane 11mph with more people/weight.
It is a lovely, lightweight, torquey, quiet motor that requires no battery and can be lay down on 3 sides when transported so perfect for putting in back of car. Starts on first pull and has a small integral petrol tank built in or run from separable fuel tank. This is the perfect motor and boat combo if you are ever sailing solo - the motor and boat are easily managed alone. Alternatively - it will easily push the boat along full to the brim if you have a full crew! Only selling as we also have 15hp motor and always have help manoeuvring the larger engine when we go out so 6hp is surplus to requirements.
Motor trolley not included in sale. New Cost £1150 Motor Price: £850ono without boat Total new cost with motor and accessories was £3625 so you are saving £1225!
