27ft Yacht With New Engine

Much loved 27ft Cutlass sailing yacht, completely overhauled in 1994 with new Selden mast and boom. Again overhauled in 2016 to present, with new Beta 16 marine engine, new sail covers, cockpit cover, batteries etc. Only for sale because my kids have out-grown and need something bigger. Extensive history including bills of work, receipts etc. Recently only day sailed in Cornish waters.

Sails: Main and roller furling jib, both in good condition. Main stacks into lazy jacks for convenience. Running rigging: Updated as needed. Lines lead back to cockpit. Furling line for jib lead back to cockpit.

Most in good condition (new sheets 2019). Standing rigging: Stainless steel replaced when needed. Good condition. Engine: New Beta 16 Marine, installed in winter 2016/17. Low miles, completely reliable.Prop shaft/ cutlass bearings, replaced in winter 2016/17.

Navigation equipment: Windex, depth, speed/ log.Electronic gizmos: Limited. I use a handheld VHF, GPS, eyeball nav and an app on my phone if required. So saying, multiple electrical points exist next to the chart table and there is a VHF on-board.Batteries: New 2018. All in all, a very good boat with excellent sea keeping ability, as evident in the underwater profile. Cosmetic attention required to the deck and cap rail (needs a repaint).

I re-anti-fouled this year but didn't get round to sorting the deck. New engine gives confidence. *Mooring available* Please contact for further details- Relisted due to time waster
