28ft Colvic Traveller Motor Cruiser

Currently lying ashore in Totnes, all it needs is a good clean and antifoul and ready for the season. As with all Colvics it is a good strurdy boat of GRP construction and ideal for rivers,canals,estuaries and inland coastal waters it has regularly been used inshore and offshore on the coast of Devon. It is a 4 berth craft and comes complete with cooker/oven, mains/ battery powered fridge,toilet and shower but there is no hot water, although all the plumbing etc is already installed for the hot water all it needs is a calorifier. Technical bit It is powered by twin 130hp Bmw engines and Bmw mark 1 outdrives giving a top speed of around 25 knots. The engines only have a running time of approx 450 hours each.

We have change the old carbs for twin SU carbs on both engines and fitted trim tabs for smoother running, there is ample storage space and a selection of ropes and fenders. Electrical equipment On deck Raymarine 54E VHF radio, Garmin Echo 150 and Navman Tracker 5380 all as in new condition. It also has 3 heavy duty batteries one for each engine and a leisure one for the instruments and lighting, it also has shore power connections and lead. In the cabin a small Tv with built in DVD player The boat was cleaned inside and out last year but after the bad winter it is looking a bit grubby but have no doubts it will clean up beautifully with a little bit of elbow grease. Bad points which I have to point out as you can see in photos a piece if the rubber bumper is missing on the rear starboard side and on the hull there are a few stress marks in the gel coat but I was assured these are nothing to worry about just cosmetic damage.

These boats are usually selling for around 10 - 12000 pounds we are selling this cheap as we have to get rid of it due to new arrival of baby anyone that buys it is getting a bargain We reserve the right to withdraw this item as it is listed for sale elsewhere.
