28ft Motor Cruiser Boat

This beautiful little historic ship Mon Ami was built around 1950 . Originally a open top double skinned life boat it was professionally converted to cabin cruiser in high grade steel . It has water tight compartments at the bow and stern and both port and starboard sides . Fitted with a Ford Thames 4 cylinder ohv diesel engine with recently reconditioned parsons 7569 gear box . A reliable and strong engine with lots of power .
Wheel house steering , two hatches , plenty of under seat / bunk storage . Double fore peek bed and two single seats with table .cooker and sink unit with pumped running water . Leisure battery fed by solar panel .solid oak plank flooring. Wood burner .Fully plywood lined interior with insulation. The deck section is constructed from 4mm thick steel , wheelhouse in 2.5 mm steel with no rot or penetrating corrosion .
Currently moored on the river Douglas estuary Hesketh Bank near Preston Lancashire . Great boat suitable to live aboard or weekend get away Mooring available after negotiation with Douglas Boat Yard
