36' Ketch Rigged Steel Sailing Boat

This is a genuine bargain boat that would make a great family cruiser or even a blue water live-aboard yacht.Re-advertised due to time wasters with big dreams and no money....... PLEASE don't bid unless you can buy. Puffin has been well maintained over the years but is now in need of a little TLC.The hull and deck are sound, the sails are used but still in good condition with no rips, good stitching and still have a good shape. The engine is old and was working fine and 100% reliable when put ashore.Very similar to Van de Stadt in design and with fantastic original build quality.The hull was shot blasted and epoxy painted approx. 10 years ago and the paint is still holding up well.... although it could do with a touch up in places and clean and polish. The interior has been 80% refitted and just requires finishing to give you a really great boat.

Unfortunately, I no longer have time to finish the project so you are getting a huge amount of boat for the money here. She sails really well having spent the last few years sailing all around the east coast, France, Belgium, Holland etc and is easy to sail single handed if required. She's a really great design, she's quite fast through the water, and has an easy motion.5 berths comprising 1 x double 2 x good sized quarter berths 1 x berth in the saloon.Much new internal joinery and insulation, new galley area, new cooker with oven and grill, new heads including w/c, she would make a great and safe family cruiser.... or with a little upgrading a fantastic blue water cruiser. The rudder is now very stiff from sitting for a couple of years... so the bearings would require dismantling and rebuilding... not a big job.... and the sprayhood will need repairing/replacing but apart from that she would be very quick and easy to get back in the water.Supplied with depth sounder, GPS, radio, speed and wind indicator etc, all fenders, warps, anchor, chain etc... everything you need to get sailing....The hull has very little rust inside and out. There is an access hatch from the cockpit to the propeller as can just be see in the photos... great if you get a line wrapped round the prop!!

I've owned Puffin for 8 years and sailed her extensively.
