4 Berth Cabin Cruiser

SEAMASTER 23.Our lovely boat "Bone Idle" is a river cabin cruiser, offering comfortable 4 berth accommodation (or 6 with the additional berth out in the cockpit) – she benefits from white leather cushions for the cockpit and interior but these are in store so not shown in the photos. PLEASE NOTE - the last picture of the inside of the cabin area is not our boat - this is just similar to what we have and to show what it looks like with the cushions in place She is fitted with built-in kitchen cupboards and drawers offering plenty of storage space and housing a two ring gas hob and oven. Stainless steel sink which has removable cover to allow more worktop surface. There is a tall cupboard which we use for storing fishing rods and also doubles up as a wardrobe. Plenty of storage space under the seats.
A small table which folds down to make up the sleeping area.She has a small toilet with a portable toilet and small hand basin.The rear deck has a folding canopy which is a bit tired but in serviceable condition and external padded seating. The "captain's chair" is on a large (movable) block which houses a cool box – we only recently discovered this and do not know it's working condition.It has a Volvo outdrive powered by a single Perkins 4108 diesel inboard engine which had been professionally maintained and was last serviced in 2013. She was antifouled before being returned to the water in 2017 and has a current BSS Certificate valid for four years.The Seamaster 23 model was built between 1968 & 1975 though the year of Bone Idle is unknown. Her original gelcoat hull would benefit greatly from being cleaned but is sound and is in a relatively good condition.Unfortunately due to ill-health Bone Idle has been unattended for a while and has succumbed to the elements and the river. We have made a very good job of cleaning her internally and externally but there are a few issues that would need to be addressed.
She has been reduced in price because of these issues and we would welcome serious offers to get her back to her original condition and make her look as lovely as she used to. A good boat to get your teeth into.She is currently moored in a beautiful location in Wateringbury which offers moorings on both floating pontoons and on a small number of static bankside moorings. There is also a caravan/camping area and plenty of great fishing spaces.Specifications:Length: 23' 2"; Beam: 9' 2"; Draught: 1'6"; Weight: 2¼ tons; Air Draught about 7'; headroom 6' throughout.
