40ft Aft Cabin Cruiser

Very rare opportunity, Completely original Humber 40 boat for sale. I have owned this boat for the last 10 years. 2018 I took her from Brighton across the channel to Paris and then through the French Canals to the South of France, visited St Tropaz, Barcelona, Majorca and Ibiza.

Last year we cruised Ibiza and Majorca before mooring her in Valencia. She has undergone major renovation. In 2018 before departing Brighton the hull was completely refurbished and anitfouled, new rubbing strake and new propellors fitted, Total cost £21,000. Full history since she was built including full engine rebuild in 2012 at a total cost of £30,000.All interior wood professional french polished in 2013, all carpets, curtains and leather upholstery replaced 2010. In 2018 I covered over 2,000 in a 3 month cruise and last year I covered around 800 in 2.5 months and the boat was completely reliable.

She offers amazing space and comfort for upto 8 adults (the lounge converts to a mammoth double bed in addition to the private cabins). She was featured in Motor Boat & Yachting magazine in November 2012. Currently moored in Valencia Spain, 100 miles from Ibiza, she can either be left there or taken anywhere in the Mediterranean, alternatively she can be brought back to England she has full diesel central heating. With her 1000 litres of fuel she has a range of upto 550. At cruising speed she will cover around 200 miles.
