42 Foot Broads Cruiser 10 Berth

Hi and welcome to my auction for our much loved and very spacious 42 ft x 12 ft beam cruiser. No expense has been spared in the 6 years we have owned it and is currently berthed on the beautiful Norfolk Broads. Specifically designed for 2 families to holiday in comfort with 3 separate bedrooms. Regrettably up for sale due to my wifes mobility issues. A brief outline 2.5 BMC Diesel Engine - 10 berth - Webasto Diesel blown air heating - 2 Bathrooms - Electric flushing toiletHot water calorifier - 12 volt & 240 volt throughout - Large fresh water tanks - Black waste holding tankTwin Solar panels - Sliding helm wheelhouse roof - LCD TV / DVD Whilst owning the boat we have had extensive improvements made costing many thousands of pounds ( I dare not add up the total costs ) However this was purely for cosmetic reasons and wanting it to stand out from the crowd.

Photos were taken October 2017. There are far, far too many things to list which have been done and bits and pieces we are prepared to let go with the boat to name but a few. 1 new electric flushing toilet fitted 2017, gas cooker fitted 2016, Leisure batteries 2016, new fitted cupboards/wardrobes 2017. Flooring and new stainless folding TV aerial. The boat was professionally repainted topsides and hull with the added benefit of new rubbing strakes (aluminium and rubber,costing circa 2k alone ) All the windows and external fittings removed prior to painting and windows resealed during refit.

Large gas locker in footwell holding 2 bottles, 2 Solar panels sufficient to run all the 12 volt system onboard including full size under counter fridge with ice box. ( the solar panels made a huge difference for going away for a week or two without the need of a charge. Blown air heating to every room also makes it more comfortable in the colder months. What we most enjoy in the summer is being able to wind the roof canopy down ( fibreglass ) via a winch in the wheel house which takes 1 minute thus being able to navigate all the rivers on the broads, tide dependant. Please see photos for internal layout, this is a super well made boat with plenty to offer and is very easy to make her a fantastic live aboard by taking a bulkhead wall out at the front making a very large master bedroom with en suite.

This month I have paid licence toll fees for 2018/19 £605, Full insurance will cost around £250 per year and typically mooring fees will set you back £1500 - £2000 per year. As you can see from the photos she looks the part and has no hidden faults. Before we purchased the vessel we had an extensive survey carried out before the purchase. My survey is available but advise purchaser to have there own carried out due to the investment. I am prepared to pay towards this by paying for the lift out and relaunch only.

Obviously I would like any potential purchaser to view and even take the boat out before bidding as I would prefer not to have any "fender" kickers turning up after auction ends.
