Yachtline ribs are the top of the range in the Zodiac line up and the quality, equipment and design is outstanding. This particular model has an excellent power tilt, electric start 50hp outboard that has just been serviced and is the maximum power rating for this boat, the package is an ideal top spec combination. Zodiac is by far the largest inflatable boat company, a generic term in most parts of the world and have been going strong for over 100 years.

The Yachtline is one of the most highly regarded rib tenders available, these boats were designed to be tougher than the rest and withstand Zodiac’s rigorous safety tests and have a higher level of quality than the majority of the market. The hull section is fantastically strong with no weak points around the transom and the extended hull length at the transom means the boat handles like a larger rib and comes up onto the plane quicker than most making this boat a very capable boat for almost any conditions.This rib is so versatile, it is large enough to carry a family or six adults seated along the coast with luggage stowed in large lockers or ideal for wakeboarding or skiing. It is also the ideal size rib to store as it will fit into any standard garage saving on Marina fees or storage costs. It was a Salcombe boat where they are very popular as it comes in just under the maximum 4.5M for the town quay pontoons but still has lots of seating and storage unlike other ribs even larger than this Zodiac.There is a huge amount of storage on this boat with a large bow locker, console locker and large under seat locker for family days out or sports equipment. This Deluxe model will carry six adults on seats!

Instead of a typical rib jockey console seat where only one or two can sit.The 50hp Autolube two stroke engine is in excellent condition it’s the perfect size and it absolutely flies! It has ample power to pull a skier with a family on board and has the refinements of electric start and power tilt, great when you are arriving at a beach. The engine has been well maintained over the years with lots of service paperwork and replacement parts including a recent power tilt ram and motor. It runs perfectly has just been serviced including a complete flush through of the fuel system and 50 litre built in tank which has been replenished with fresh fuel. It has impressive acceleration has always been meticulously washed through and is ready to go.

Rib 4.2M Zodiac Yachtline 420 Deluxe the pictures were taken last week and the boat is tidy with a polished, very clean hull that has not been antifouled. The interior is very reasonable and complete with no tears or repairs, it looks smart but it is showing some signs of wear and although it looks quite good and would be fine for years it would possibly be nice to recover them at the end of the season, perhaps through the winter. The tubes are in very good condition, just a couple of patches below the waterline professionally done a few years ago that are fine, cosmetically they could be improved if you chose to get the rib in perfect condition. This boat is equally at home on the back of a large yacht as it would be as a family rib for bay hopping and for comfortable days out. It has a spacious interior ergonomically designed and great for a family of five or sixCategory C rated CE approved.
