4.5m Tornado Rib With Trailer – Project - Transom Requires Attention

96 Normal 0 false false false EN-GB JA X-NONE 4.5m Tornado RIB. Age unknown. This RIB was a formerly a sailing club safety boat. It had the benefit of new hypalon tubes around four years ago. The tubes are in very good condition with no repairs or damage and hold air indefinitely.

The rest of the boat is a bit scruffier. The hull has been painted and some of the paint is flaking. The deck has been reinforced with non slip checker-plate. The transom is in need of the most work as it is very soft and will need stripping down and rebuilding. There is a small centre console which again would benefit from a cosmetic refinish.

This is fitted with working cable steering. The trailer is a simple single axle galvanised model with winch. It requires a new jockey wheel. The bearings and wheels will be checked and made ready to tow prior to the end of the auction. Overall an ideal spring project.

It would suite an engine of around 40-50hp. Buyer to made contact as soon as the auction ends. Payment ideally cash on collection. You’ll need to bring your own straps and lighting board. The RIB must be collected by the end of the 9th of March.
