46ft Semi-Trad Narrowboat

Unfortunately going up for sale is my 46ft semi trad narrowboat, Emma Jane. She has a Sager Marine hull of Bryhouse York's and was made in 1980. The engine is a BMC which runs lovely and has light use, from being on permanent moorings.She is reluctantly going up for sale due to a new job opportunity which requires to live on site and simply wouldnt have the time to carry on enjoying the boat life. I have owned and had as a liveaboard for 3 years. I had her lifted out and full survey completed when purchased.In the last 2 years I have had the boat blacked and new anodes put on, as well as having the engine fully serviced.
It has a valid BSS until 27th August 2024, completed at Oxford Cruisers. All paper work is on the boat.The heating system is run off a Villager 2 log burner, fitted with a back boiler which heats a clarifier, feeding the shower and bathroom sink. The kitchen sink has a morco combi gas boiler for instant heat for washing up. During the summer months, the clarifier can be heated from the engine running, when the log burner isn't in use. The kitchen has a Belling oven with 4 hobs, grill and main oven.
The kitchen also benefits from a Montpellier 12v fridge, which was purchased late last year for over £500.I have installed 2x 100w solar panels, linked up to a Victron smart solar 100/20 battery charger. The bow is fitted with a custom made cratch cover, made by AJ canopies which is in very good condition, with no rips and solid zips.I have fitted a 5kw diesel heater in the cratch which blows hot air into the bedroom, for those cold winter mornings before the log burner heats the rest of the boat.The boat is currently moored at Radcot on Thames, at a permanent mooring at Ye Olde Swan pub, with the option to keep the mooring, although would be non-residential.The boat currently sleep 2, although has the possibility to sleep 4, with a sofa bed has been taken apart and stored under the bow of the boat.She has been a great home for the last 3 years and will be sad to see her go.
