2010 47 x Just under 9 foot wide beam This boat has been a very comfortable home for me for the last 6 years, family commitments now mean I need a bigger boat hence the sale. There are more photos on apolloduck website http://narrowboats.apolloduck.co.uk/feature.phtml? Id=515656 Ok So the fit out is ash and oak with a full size double bed at the stern, followed by a walkthrough bathroom, galley and lounge. Bedroom All cabinets and wardrobes are oak, as is the bed which has storage underneath. Bathroom Bathroom has a decent size bath, sink and Jabsco macerator toilet (pumpout) Galley Oak cabinets and Iroka Worktops.
Really good layout agian with loads of storage. Fridge is a waeco CR140 12/ 230v model which is very low powered but a good size,Belling cooker and hob and to the side is an instant gas water heater which is fantastic for when you are moored up as there is no need to start the engine for hot warer! There is a Neff washer /dryer under the counter (cost well over a £1000) which works perfectly on the inverter while cruising so clean clothes are never a problem Lounge area Carpeted new last month with a top quality deep pile carpet. The custom made leather couch is straight across the bow which is designed to be comfy to sit on and to use as a bed. The centre pulls out to make an l shape sofa and to enable you to use the step for the bow doors, very handy if you have guests that like to sit out front.
It is nicely lighted with under gunnel lights. Engine and equipment Engine is a Barrus shire 45hp with hydraulic gearbox showing only 850 hours (this may go up). The hospital silencer and sound proofing to the deck boards make this one of the quietest boats you will come across. Lock keepers often comment that they can hardly hear us coming! This engine was fitted new (at a cost of nearly £9,000) in 2012 as the original was too small in my opinion and i wanted the ability to cruise rivers without issue.
Prop Custom made vetus 4 blade prop This really helps the boat pick up pace easily and reversing is now easy (for a barge) Electrics Twin alternator 12v system, the 160 watt alternator is linked to a sterling alternator to battery controller, this amongst loads of other things gives you a display with a timer on telling you how long until your batteries are actually charged. This is really use full if you are a liveaboard! Sterling 3500 watt pure in inverter charger. Sterling galvanic isolator. 4x trojan 6v t105 batteries have been installed, these need topping up with distilled water periodically.
An auto top up system is fitted which makes this job a breeze, literally 2 minutes. These are true deep cycle batteries designed for hard use and if looked after will last years. Solar installation 2 x 136 watt uni solar panels, these were imported at huge cost from the USA. They are top quality panels that can be walked on. Coupled with the Morningstar 45 amp MPPT controller, this is a top end setup not cheap Chinese tat.
In summer they easily keep the batteries charged. Yesterday they put in nearly 120 amps into the batteries which for April is amazing! There is a display which tells you exactly what is going on. Satellite system Maxview twin LNB fully automatic satellite system. Quite simply moor up, press a button and this will find the correct satellite for sky HD.
Internet router A 4G router is installed with an external 4g aerial this gives lighning quick speeds and reliable wifi almost anywhere. Just install your sim and go. Heating Morco multi fuel stove Eberspacher d4wsc diesel heater, this heats the radiators for the boat, this has a system installed so u can send it a message through an app on your phone to turn it on wherever you are. This is great for when you know the stove has gone out and you are on your way home, or if you want to turn the heating on from the comfort of your bed! This is currently been serviced and will be reinstalled before the sale of the boat.
Other features Full pram cover manufactured by canvas man, this has the bag to store it in and custom made curtains (never used) Nature pure water filter, this gives safe clean tasting water from the kitchen tap.Really is better than most bottled water! The boat had a full RCD when i bought it and has a boat safety test for at least two years. Fully licensed also until January. If needed i am happy to organise a fresh boat safety test for the new owner. If you do have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me on phone.
Please no time wasters, I am in no hurry to sell so not open to silly offers. Danny
