50% Boat Share On Brighton Marina

Hi This is an opportunity to own 50% of my 24ft Ketch, she comes with all sails and navigation aids, 12 volts and 24 shore power, central heating, electric bilge pumps, windless anchor, navigation and autopilot, self furling sails, tender and solar panels, she also has a sea toilet, new oven and hot plates, new fridge TV and DVD and music system, The Ketch sleeps 4 people in two cabins, she has fresh water tanks. The motor is a 30hp Beta serviced in 2021. She also has new batteries and onboard chargers, as well as benefiting from twin keels, so she stays upright should the tide go out. About the Marina Brighton is a premier Marina, so you get a secure gated berth, the use of all other premier marinas in the UK for 40 nights at no charge, a parking permit for your car (like gold dust in Brighton) membership of the Yacht Club and a key fob to let you through all the barriers. The boat is next to a free Wi-Fi tower and 50 m from the private shower block, additionally you get a discount card which can be used at all the Marina restaurants and chandlery services and Mains power, so you can plug into normal plugs You are within a short 5-minute walk of an ASDA Superstore, David Lloyd health club, multiplex Cinema and over 40 restaurants and bars.
The Marina is Dog friendly. Why am I offering a boat share ? I live four hours from the boat and so have only used it for a few weekends this summer, and it is a shame it is not being used more often even if you are not a boat person you can think of it as an inexpensive weekend retreat in Brighton, if you do want to learn to sail lessons can be provided from the RYA school on the Marina, an instructor will even take you out and teach you on the boat. The Deal Full half share in the boat so you would be registered as the co-owner The summer months would be split into April June August for one owner and May July and September for the other owner The Winter months would be split October, December and February and November, January and March.Costs of Insurance would be split 50/50 currently about £170 a year you would pay the mooring charges for the months you use currently £268.00 per monthAny maintenance work would also be split 50/50 from year two of ownership. Cost of your 50 percent share The cost of your share would be £6500.00 that would buy you half of the ownership of the boat. You would never have to pay anything else other than the above the boat just top up the diesel and electricity ( via an App) and you are good to go. This is the best of both worlds a weekend getaway place with all the facilities and a motorsailer.
