55FT Liveaboard Steel Trawler Conversion Project

55ft steel trawler built-in 1978. Gardner 8L3 starts on the button. No electronics or autopilot, but does have a working VHF and EPIRB. All accommodation, hold and focsle have been stripped out back to steel, soi she is a blank canvass. Wheelhouse and engine room are still intact and the boat is fully operational.

She does need some small repairs done before going back in the water. Price is £5k to clear storage, and if not sold by the end of the month, she will be getting scrapped. Comes with £1k worth of brand new anodes. The boat is at Fairlie Quay just beside Largs yacht haven. There is about 2m headroom under the decks, possibly a wee bit more as i can stand upright.

Even more headroom in the engine room. The last pictures of her painted is as she is now. I don't have any more pictures. She is on the hard, and the launching fees are already paid. Hull was tested and is between 5 and 6mm in most places with 3 small holes rusted through.

The holes were found when cleaning her up hence we got the hull tested. Serious project, but with most of the dirty work done.
