62Ft Narrowboat

Hi everyone, the idea is that you do have to place bids so ............... I have re-listed this amazing boat to give you another chance. Hi to all the lovely people who were interested in our boats earlier in the year, we had a successful sale of 3 previous narrowboats and all buyers seemed very happy indeed with what they had bought. This is an unbelievable opportunity to purchase a 62ft Narrowboat where most of the hard work has been done And, virtually all the worrying stuff has been taken care of.Currently she is being fitted out by one of our chaps and should be ready in the winter but we need some money now! I'm looking for a minimum of £25K, If we don't get this then we will simply mothball her on a cheap mooring and finish the work in the spring.

Made in 2004 at a yard in Flintshire Montana or Desiderata as we call her has spent her life as a hire boat.From travelling up and down the Thames, she now needs a new home, a re paint and some love and care.She has a current new Boat Safety Certificate. (You'll probably need another one now because of the refitting work that we have already done,)She has had her bottom blacked in February this year and a hull thickness survey done at the same time.She really is good to go! The engine is a Barras and her life as a hire boat means that she has been serviced about once every six weeks.The flooring was rotten throughout as a result of a steady water leak from the domestic water system, the flooring has all been ripped up and replaced, the water system sorted and obviously no leaks anymore. She has new kitchen worktops,units and a redesigned layout that gives loads of space so she would make a brilliant live-a-board. She has lots of social space and good shoulder width.

You will need to budget for a new toilet, shower etc unless you like old scungy stuff in which case it's perfect!! So, what's the down side? There isn't one really, you need to be able to see past all the planks and tools that our guy will clear out before you take it. Or,You could speak to him nicely and see if he will complete the fit out to your ideas, he is very good and not too expensive..........
