65' Mfv For Houseboat Conversion Project

I have for sale my ex danish fishing trawler the Heltborg.Shes 65' long with a beam of 16'currently moored near the Dartford river crossing in Kent. Wooden hull larch on oak construction.Very sturdily built as you can imagine having to take on the north sea.I purchased her just over a year ago with the intention of converting her to live aboard but regretfully due to a change in circumstance i can no longer pursue my dream. The Heltborg is essentially a blank canvas.

I've spent the last couple of months stripping her back internally so it's ready for a new owner to convert her to their own taste. I had been searching for sometime for a suitable Mfv but most had already been converted in one way or another. The previous owner had removed the engine, fuel tanks and hydraulics all to give more space below deck. The engine mounts are still in position so fitting a recon engine would be a straight forward task if it was required. The Heltborg can't remain on the mooring once it has been sold so a a new owner would have to ensure they have an adequate mooring.

I have used a towing company locally so could arrange it on behalf of the new owner if required. This is a renovation/conversion project and does need a complete re-fit. She would also benefit from re-caulking on the water line and below. The bilge pump kicks in every couple of days or so. I have a list of things that were done to her approximately 6years ago.

She was dry docked and works were carried out on the hull. This is available on request. I'll upload more photos and more info over the nxt couple of days.
