9m Colvic Watson Motorsailer. Colvic Ketch Rig, Long Keel, Diesel Motorsailer

14/01/2019 Ref. Motorsailer 'FRIENDSHIP' 9m, ketch rigged, long keel (no bilge keels but has as new set of beaching legs, . (The Yacht Leg Company Ltd). Wt. 7 tonnes. She has a 60hp BMC Leyland diesel engine.(runs well) with Newage PRM Hydraulic gearbox.. Friendship has been lifted out and is on the hard at at Watchet marina, Somerset She has mooring fees paid up to April/May 2019.

My reason for selling is the simple one of ill health restricting my ability to fully maintain her or make use of her. Dependent on the weather I am in process of cleaning her hull and at the same time I am still carrying out some internal cosmetic woodwork ( replacing marine ply cladding) and some minor electrical wiring. There is a full complement of original sails, and new sheets (not yet replaced the old ones). The windlass has been stripped down and refurbished., There is ship/shore radio, Navtex,Sestral compass. VDO instrumentation:Log,Depth sounder,Wind speed, wind direction,Magnetic Compass.

VDO engine instruments: Tacho, Oil pressure, Oil temp, Fuel guage, Engine hours,.Electric gauge Electrics DC/AC are controlled from Marinetics switch board. There are two new 60amph batteries (one dedicated to engine, the other to lighting etc).There is a Taylor paraffin fuelled heater and oven/hob. Initially I I would have liked to achieve £17,500.00 but having been advised that there is a a certain amount of TLC to be done I am now open to sensible offers. I am not going to give her away.
