Achilles 24 - Sailboat, Excellent Condition Racer / Cruiser

Achilles 24 / BLUEFINN is a British sailboat that was designed by Oliver Lee and Chris Butler as a cruiser-racer. Around 600 was build of this super popular boats. This is very late example with hull No 565. This is one of best little boats, and one of the smallest ever that successfully finished 1976 Horrific Transatlantic OSTAR Race, proving she is strong and tough seaworthy boat. Today it is still a popular club racer.

BLUEFINN Hull No.565 was factory fitted out, unlike many of the boats this included inboard motor, which was then professionally replaced with 2001 model Volvo Penta which is in superb condition. Since purchase about 2 years ago she was constantly upgraded ad serviced with thousands ££££££ spent. This could be one of the best Achilles 24 with cruising spec out there, with recent survey and Insurance Valuation at £20000 She is a great boat, quite fast, and super easy to handle solo. 4 Berths total, 2 in Fore Cabin, and 2 in main cabin, Decent storage, , blue hull sides, some scratches from mooring lines, especially large stern lockers, 2 sinks. I was able to build a lot of confidence sailing it and ready for big seas now :) If I was to keep BLUEFINN I would add stack pack for main sail, or at least new sail cover + furling and new head sail to make life easier.
