Albacore Class Racing Sailing Dinghy: No Reserve!

This is a very light and maneuverable dinghy that can be easily launched, handled, and hauled out by one adult. All control lines are within reach of helmsman. The large open plan easily accomodates two tall people, or three children. A brand new suit of sails is within class racing specifications. Very quick in the light winds.

Sails can be depowered in moderate conditions. Three bouyancy tanks make it safe and easily righted by one person. Self bailers in hull and transom empty the hull in seconds. Forgiving to beginners, yet competitive and within regulation for serious class-racing. I am very sad to have to sell her, but I cannot take her with me to NZ!

I have had a wonderful time exploring the Solent, with frequent trips to Portsmouth, Lymington, and IOW. On 25-Nov-17 at 17:10:11 GMT, seller added the following information: I took some more photos of the boat today, and added them to the listing. Most of the crucial bits are pictured, except for the centerboard, which is similar construction as the rudder (and in equally good condition). I have maintained everything to a high standard. Noteworthy work done includes a new snatch block for the main sheet, new set of sails, polyurethane decking sealant was completely renewed at end of last season, reinforced chain plate mountings, and oarlocks.

Included with the boat is road trailer with lights, a launching trailer (the right tire of the launch trailer has slow leak, needs air before each use (air pump included)), waterproof bag, emergency signal mirror, emergency strobe light/flashlight, oars and oarlocks, two life jackets, (one wet suit negotiable). Noticed today that someone has borrowed two bungs from the transom, so I will try to source a replacement this week. Any other questions let me know! Michael
