This listing is for a very pretty, and well renowned Swedish built 9m yacht. About 1500 of these seaworthy boats have been built.Originally designed as a successful half ton racer, that has settled into being a fast cruising yacht.The way they sail, especially to windwards is well known. The fin keel has 1500kgs of lead encapsulated. No worries about keel bolts. A superb boat for shorthanded use, as it is very forgiving and stable.

This particular one has had extensive recent updates for a trip down to the Algarve and back in 2018, the following were all replaced in the 12 months prior to this.The mast step or truss has been replaced, and the support for it blasted, painted and replaced along with additional support.Replacement spreaders have been fitted.The masthead has led tri and anchor lights, vhf aerial, plus a windex.There is an LED Deck and steam light.The standing rigging has been replaced in 2013. Inner forestay, can be used either with no 4 or 5 jib as a solent stay, or to mid deck for the storm jib. SKB sails have made the following.2017,Main replaced with with new vectran kevlar reinforced sail cloth, 3 slab reefs, spectacles.Roller genoa replaced with the same material, no1 sized but cut slightly higher at the clew. Both sails have been in the sail loft over winter having been washed, and checked.
Dyneema sheets for the genoa.The traveller is a lewmar replacement.Main halyard replaced with dyneema. There are twin genoa halyards, plus new spinnaker halyard. New jackstays. 2018. All deck fittings removed, resealed, and the load bearing ones had the core cleaned out, and replaced with epoxy, then the mountings re drilled. New windows 2017.
One new bulkhead compass 2018, the other is clean and works well. Lewmar delta 10kg anchor with 25m 8mm chain. Through hulls replaced apart from the large heads one, all ball valves replaced with dzr.Twin manual bilge pumps, one in the stern locker, and one internal in the forecabin.2016 manual head replaced.2016 shaft seal.2018 Cutlass bearing replaced.The prop is a 2 blade folding in good order. The engine was replaced in 2012 with a volvo md 2020, this is a lovely smooth 3 cylinder shibauru engine. It runs well, but does have a slight oil leak.
The fuel tank has been cleaned as a precautionary measure. It holds 35 litres, plenty for 24hrs motoring at moderate speed. The alternator regulator, and waterpump seals replaced 2018. The watertank has been cleaned out, and the tank water is potable. There is one outlet in the galley with a foot pump.
There is a sea water tap operated by foot pump. Lee cloths are fitted in the saloon berths. Ais receiver is part of the gmdss vhf radio. There is a depth sounder. The log needs a new hull fitting.
A 2018 survey is available either via the drop box link, or on request. The interior is dated but clean and habitable. The topsides have previously been painted, and could do with a refresh. The deck is original, and has never been painted. The locker lids were replaced in 2018, but the ply has delaminated, replacement is ongoing.
The dinghy , outboard, and wind vane are not part of the sale. The 2 105ah house batteries (replaced 2018) are charged by alternator, and 200w solar with mppt controller, via a 1-2-both manual switch. The engine has a seperate 75ah start battery. Replaced 2017. Led bulbs fitted on internal lights.
Caframo fan in the forecabin, along with switched usb charger. Cabin heating is a 4kw planar diesel heater, trunked under the saloon berth, and with 3 outlets in the cabin.. The clip on points for harnesses have good backing plates. I'm sure i have missed plenty of smaller items, so do come and see this much loved boat at Falmouth. The berth is likely to be available (at extra cost) by negotiation with the marina if it was of interest. £10,500 ONO.
