Albin Ballad 30ft Fin Keel Yacht

Albin Ballad 30 foot Sailing Yacht (Scandinavian)I am selling this boat as a project boat I am selling for an old friend who is 91 it has become to much for him these days he also know nothing about the internet let alone classifieds board.I will try and give you as much information that I can he has owned this boat for 31 years in which time he has bought new sails (in the past few years) there is one sail has only been used once.The Engine is only three years old and I very much doubt it has done 100 hours. She has been anti Fouled over the winter. She does need a good refit she is looking tired. There is an issue with the stern tube it needs a new seal fitting to it not a massive job but because at some point the stern tube leaked water has got in to the gearbox the box seems to be ok I think by flushing it out a couple of times and filling with new oil it will be fine.. She is fitted with a ship to shore radio (not DSC) she has some sort of GPS unit and she is fitted with some sort of unit that makes the alternator produce more power. There is a nice galley fitted with a gimbled cooker with oven.

I think she would sleep six she has a separate heads. A front cabin with two berths. In the salon there is a drop down table. The cock pit has lots of room with two very large lockers under the seating there is a lazarett. On deck nice wide side decks that make it easy to walk around I am told that there is three, anchors she has furling genoa but also there seems to be an extra forestay that you can clip on or off to add extra sail.
