Alphacraft 42 £42,000 Moored in Hampton This is a really nice example of a well loved and maintained Alphacraft 42, which is being sold due to a growing family. With 3 bedrooms (1 small, suitable for a young child) and 3 bathrooms it makes a great family boat, either as a liveaboard or for very comfortable holidays. These boats were designed as rental boats on the broads and therefore combine spaciousness with practicality and safety. The layout includes a large living area with fixed seating, a TV and stereo (all remaining). There are numerous windows and glazed doors to the stern deck meaning it feels very light and open.
The galley kitchen leads off of here with numerous cupboards including a large larder cupboard, fridge, cooker and washing machine. Doors lead off the galley to the first bedroom, this is a room with a fixed bed, access to the engine bay is in here (and also in the galley). There is an ensuite shower room, with toilet and sink. The second bedroom has limited headroom in parts, but works well as a child’s bedroom, this room also has an ensuite shower room with sink toilet. The wheel house is above this bedroom with fixed seating and a sliding roof.
This is a fantastic light place to be in the summer months. In the winter there are covers for this area if needed. The master bedroom in the bow has a large double bed with storage built in around and an ensuite bathroom with bath, toilet and sink. There are removable covers made for the windows of this room. Although the size of the water tank is not known a family of 4 can last at least 1 week, including using the washing machine regularly due to a young family.
Netty Noodles was last out of the water in January 2022, she was antifouled and the engine was serviced. She has a boat safety certificate until March 2025.
