Aluminium Fast Boat - Custom Built Marine Alloy Ocean Research Fishing Craft

This 28' all marine aluminium craft was custom built for the University of St Andrews as an Ocean Research Craft and was known as The Envoy. The design was based on a robust fibreglass US Coast Guard rescue boat, designed to operate in rough North Atlantic conditions. She was capable and stable at speeds in excess of 35kn and cost over £65,000. She would cost over £100k to build to the same specifications today... She requires a propulsion unit (engine, outdrive) and is obviously a project, but a very rare one. She also comes with a good, solid road trailer and can be towed away with a suitable 4x4/Van.
