Arden 4 24ft Sailing Yacht

Lovely little ship. Woodwork inside excellent. Exterior cockpit coamings, hatches, etc need some varnish or oil. All Teak. She sails well.

Has one good mainsail with two reefing points and slab reefing, four head sails and one spinnaker. Main head-sail has reefing points. Displacement 1780kg. Ballast 967kg. Encapsulated keel.

Draft 1.7m. Mast and boom alloy with ss standing rigging. Two batteries charged by Volvo Penta single cylinder engine. Engine worked excellently until arrival at harbour. Turns, has compression, but I cannot get her to start.

I know just about nothing about engines. But I'm sure she could be started by someone with engine experience. The vessel also has outboard bracket attached to stern. She has a two burner gas hob with grill, fed from two gas bottles in cockpit locker. A paraffin heater and a portable toilet.

Internal full set of cushions. Four berths. Nasa Log, Nasa depth sounder, main compass, etc. One main anchor and chain and three other anchors with rope and chain. Many fenders and mooring ropes.

Many, many extras. She has a rather patched Avon Redstart dinghy with pump and paddles. There is no trailer with this vessel. I am six feet tall and can almost stand upright in Cabin. All she need to spruce her up is some deck paint.

She is as sound as the day she was made.
