Wessie of Maldon is an Aristocat 30 Part 1 registered ship with twin diesel engines which has benefited from a major refit in 2015 including new foam composite foredeck and coppercoat antifouling (lasts 10 years). Although not one of the best known catamaran brands the design became the Gemini, initially using the same moulds so there are many similarities. She has very spacious accommodation in three cabins which would make her suitable for living aboard or extended cruising. Two cabins forward of the saloon, a double master cabin with sink to starboard and twin single bunks to port. A further small double cabin aft in the starboard hull.
Standing headroom in both hulls and the saloon doghouse area. The heads compartment is aft in the port hull with a sink, shower and electric toilet. 2015 refurbishment:Hulls:Sanded back to gelcoatPainted with toplac above the waterlineEpoxy coated below the waterlineCoppercoat antifouling (No antifouling for 10 years!)
