Avon SR4 Rib And Trailer

I have for sale a Avon SR4 rib project. The hull has never been in water, it is the deluxe hull and hadn’t had an engine mounted until I test mounted a Honda 50. The hull is ivory and I had the tubes professional removed so I could regel or paint the hull grey. The hull has a few minor chips from storage and no damage. The transom is rock solid as the hull has been dry stored since new.

The tubes are made SIT, hypalon. These were fitted by the previous owner and were brand new at the time of fitting. They have a heavy duty rubbing Strake and points to attach the ropes down the side. The tubes have no patches and hold air with pressure drop indefinitely. They had where patch’s on the top side which I had removed as I didn’t like them.

The tubes alone would be thousands to buy. Included with tubes are 4 lengths of Black Impression Hypalon for the top of the tubes, and various cut Grey hypalon strips for attaching the tubes to the hull. Also included is a Avon SR5.4 Navy millitary console, a hydraulic helm. The boat sits on Roller Coaster trailer. The trailer is in good condition apart from rusty wheels.

Bearings are greased and tows fine. This was a project that I now just don’t have time to finish due to other commitments and health issues. I have had a few of these boats and they are super stable, quick and ride a rough sea very well for its size. A pretty straight forward project if you have the time and will make an excellent setup with a 40-50hp outboard. Collection only.
