BATES ASTRAL 810 - GREAT CONDITION * 27ft GRP GRUISER - BSC TO JULY 2019 * GREAT VALUE & READY TO GO * IDEAL CRUISING LIVEABOARD WITH MOORING Hi, and thanks for looking at my ad for this 27ft GRP cruiser for sale on behalf of the owner. She was built in Chertsey, Surrey and was manufactured by the very well respected boat builders W. Bates & Son with an all GRP (fibreglass) construction of hull, decks and superstructure and would be ideally suited as a holiday or weekend cruiser, a pied-a-terre or equally as a high quality compact liveaboard. If you look around you can see that the asking price of £11,950 is very reasonable for a boat of this quality and size with a mooring in this location and the owner will also consider reasonable offers; she is advertised for sale elsewhere. This has been very well maintained and has a comprehensive history including copies of the original sales brochures and a magazine article from 1999 about this particular boat. There is a Boat Safety Certificate until July 2019.
Come and have a look around her, she is a great boat with so much charm and appeal with a really usable layout, great outside space, safe decks and a bright and light interior alongside good equipment. You will not be disappointed. The mooring is fully transferable to the new owner and is in an ideal location in Egham / Old Windsor on the River Thames. The town centre is only a short walk away and has a full range of banks, shops, launderette, pubs and restaurants. It also boasts a mainline station running into London Waterloo including stops at Clapham Junction. The boatyard is small and friendly, everyone is welcome and the boat can be viewed there.Manufactured in Chertsey, Surrey in 1981Built by the very well respected boat builders - W.
