Bayliner 2455 Ciera Sunbridge With Mercury Outboard Welcome to my auction for my Bayliner 2455. This is a no reserve auction and will be sold to the highest bidder. Built in 1986 it is 24ft long with an 8ft beam and full standing headroom. I have owned it for two years but unfortunately I lost my wife last year and so didn't use it much and owing to the severe winter the main engine froze and cracked the block , heads and manifolds as it had not been winterized properly. The engine is still there but has been striped down but all parts are still there Having said that I rarely used the main engine as being a 5.7 litre omc cobra it was rather expensive to run so it is fitted with a Mercury outboard with tiller control that has just been serviced which pushes it along nicely on inland waterways and therefore very economical.

It is a very tidy boat and has just had all new seating in the cockpit area. It has a double aft bedroom and the main saloon has a dining table and two singles that can convert into a double. In the galley there is a fridge, sink with pumped water from the onboard water tank and stove. There is a separate flushing toilet with wash hand basin.It comes with all ropes, fenders, depth sounder, horseshoe lifebelt and a full canopy that I used for the winter months ashore etc and so is ready to use. It has a good four wheeled galvanised trailer and is moored on Kielder Water Northumberland.

It can be kept there by joining Kielder Yacht Club whose fees are very good and their details can be found online or it can be moved away. Kielder is a beautiful place with 27 miles of shoreline and is 7 miles long with lots of social activities. Set in the tranquil Kielder forest. You are welcome to view the boat by appointment as I live an hour away, but if you decide not to view you will not be disappointed as this is a very tidy boat.The winning bidder should pay a £200 deposit at the close of the auction and the balance either in cash or direct bank transfer at which time the keys will be handed over. As I am sure you will know these boats sell for over £6,000 so someone will be getting a real bargain as it is perfectly useable as it is.
