Beautiful Selway Fisher ‘Grace Hawar’ Gaff/gunter Rigged Schooner

Designed by the well known Selway Fisher company, this example was built by John Holiday on Hayling Island in 1998 for a Dutch client.This is not a small dinghy, she is a very stable and weatherly boat capable of more than just a trip up the river, she has sailed with 9 people and 2 dogs in the present ownership.Built in buoyancy tanks and water tight lockers make her a safe boat, Two mast gunter rig gives plenty of sail area for a good turn of speed.She is able to be launched and retrieved from the road trailer and the rig can be set up by one person making her a very easy boat to handle and sail. She has a full inventory including the outboard engine, compass and anchor and with her lifting centreboard she is ready to go and explore the creeks and coasts.
