Hi, This is just a scoping out email....to get a rough idea of how much it would cost to transport a 60-foot narrow boat from March in Cambridgeshire, to Inverness in Scotland. I do not know how much the boat weighs, but my previous 60ft Nb weighed around 20 tonnes. We would not require a crane in March, because they have a boat lift...but we would need one in Scotland....It is probably more cost-effective to hire one from Scotland, I'm guessing? As I say, this is just to get a rough idea. Regards Dawn

Hello, I'm just writing to inquire about the cost of transporting a widebeam narrowboat (no larger than 60'x12') from the UK to Ireland? I'm looking at purchasing one from the UK to import, would there be a significant difference in cost between transporting it from, say, London to Dublin versus somewhere closer, such as Manchester to Dublin? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rory
