Boat River Coastal Cruiser Albin 25 Project

ALBIN 25' x 8' 6" River and coastal Cruiser, with Beta engine hardly used but about 8 yrs old now Hull is in good condition, canopy and windows need attention. The boat has had a couple of feet of rainwater in it for a few months so the woodwork is water damaged, the engine has no water in it and turns over, the starter motor, alternator etc are all growing from damp, but not necessarily dead. I am telling you like it is, it is no good asking me to try and start it for you, or asking me if you can have a go before you buy!! The asking price reflects the sold as seen, where is etc etc!!! These are typical well built, i.e. Strong boats, by the Scandinavians, to take the waters and weather of the baltic. The original engine was replaced with the beautiful brand new Beta a few years ago and was hardly used, basically the boat is a typical hard luck story with split up of couples!! You can find plenty of details about these boats on the internet. She is transportable by 3.5 tonne trailer, but the problem is hull and keel shape, so it would have to be a special trailer.

Call 0phone To answer some questions.....The steering is push/pull cable (teleflex) and working well.....The woodwork is badly water stained, but very little rot, door bottoms basically.....I put a battery on her today and the solenoid clicked, but starter motor did not turn, so as said above, that and the alternator will need renew/rebuild...
