Condition Description: 
Condition is used, the condition of the trim is 'tired' in places as to be expected for a 40 year old yacht with sagging headliners in places. Otherwise, maintenance has been conducted where required and the engine and electrics have been reliable. Survey from 2018 is available on request.
Description: 

This Bolero is a tall rig version and these boats are fast, good for club racing, easily handled and have good accommodation. Designed by David Thomas and classified as a quarter tonner. With a LOA of 25.5ft (7.77m) and a fin keel offering a draught of 1.4m. 2018 survey available on request. The boat is ready to sail for the summer and has been great for cruising trips over the past few years.

The main and foresail were new from Hyde in 2015 and have had limited use. The foresail is fitted to a rotofurl. The standing rigging was replaced in Aug 2020. The engine fitted is a Yanmar 1GM10 inboard diesel which has proven to be reliable. This is connected to a folding prop complete with rope cutter, cutlass bearing was changed in 2018.

An outboard mount is also fitted to the transom. Accommodation: Forward there is a double 'V' berth with an overhead hatch. The compartment has a bench settee, galley area to starboard, quarter berths to port and starboard giving a total of 5 berths. The step up to cockpit that can be removed to access the engine. Galley: Two burner ethanol hob and sink with electric pump and water storage.

Heads: Chemical toilet under the foreberth. Instruments: Raymarine A57D blueprint GPS in cockpit along with 2014 Raymarine ST60+ tridata, Raymarine ST60+ gust in cockpit. Raymarine 54E DSC VHF radio 2015 fitted below. There is a deck fitting for an auto tiller. Two 12V batteries are fitted along with battery chargers.

The steering is via a wooden tiller with extension and the cockpit deck is teak. A large cockpit locker is fitted on the starboard side. The remainder of the hull is GRP and has undergone a minor deck repair in the vicinity of one of the stanchions. The boat was last anti-fouled in Aug 2020. Deck fittings comprise of a stainless steel pulpit, stainless steel pushpit quarters, Stanchions with two guard wires and Spinnaker pole are fitted.

A CQR style anchor is fitted with chain and warp. The running rigging is all in a usable condition with self-tailing winches fitted for the Genoa sheets.
